About the Breeder
Aprelle is the breeder, owner, and operator of Welly Doodles. Her passion for dogs began with her childhood pet, an Australian Shephard with an intelligent, loyal, and loving disposition. The Hawkins family started to explore adding another breed of dog to the family; however, due to allergies, the family needed a non-shedding dog. By chance, Aprelle happened to meet an Australian Labradoodle and was immediately reminded of her childhood pet. The breed is friendly, intelligent, loyal, loving, and great with children! All of the qualities you could want in a family pet Even better? They are non-shedding and great for people with allergies. It was a match made in heaven!
Aprelle has always dreamed of becoming a quality dog breeder and placing puppies in loving homes. The Australian Labradoodle was the missing piece to the puzzle and reignited this dream, which has now become a reality. She has done extensive research on the breed, received guidance from other breeders, and will be working closely with her veterinarian to ensure the program is a success. This is truly a labor of love for Aprelle, and she is committed to upholding her program to the highest standard.
In her spare time, Aprelle enjoys spending time with her family and friends, gardening, cooking, and baking (including her own dog treats!). She and her family lead an active lifestyle, whether it’s family bike rides, afternoons swimming in the pool, or going to a park. She is a kind-hearted, warm, and nurturing person who puts her whole heart into everything she does.
